CONCEPT: Fashion magazine spread inspired by prints so bold that the wearer is enveloped by the pattern. Simple styling with minimal accessories focusing more on exaggerated posing reflecting the prints.
ROLE: Photographer and Designer
DELIVERABLES: Four designed magazine spreads & photographs of clothing on model.
PROCESS: Model photographed in studio on white sweep. To create the background patterns, garments were then styled flat/off-model separately and photographed. In Photoshop, patterns from the garments are deconstructed and were digitally modified into a seamless “wallpaper” and applied to the white background in all photos. Layout designed and text applied on finalized spreads.

Behind the Scenes
Lighting check!… wardrobe check!… whoopsy, one of the models didn’t have the right shoes so I let her borrow mine (it should be noted that I typically wear shoes while photographing).
