Fall Silicone PaciGrip & Bib Sidekick
CLIENT: Walmart shoppers and BooginHead customers
ROLE: Art Director, Graphic Designer & Manufacturing Liaison (China factory)
DELIVERABLES: Product concept development, custom illustrations, silicone bib and pacifier holder collections, packaging design, retailer presentation mockups, in-store sidekick display, dielines, manufacturing specifications, product sampling, and quality control.
CHALLENGE & APPROACH: Develop a cohesive retail program for Walmart that included custom silicone bibs, matching pacifier holders, packaging, and an in-store sidekick display. Working under a compressed timeline, I led concept development, created more than 50 product and packaging mockups, developed retailer presentation materials, and collaborated closely with manufacturing partners to bring the final program to market.
OUTCOME: The final Fall Silicone PaciGrip & Bib collection was selected by Walmart for retail placement and launched as an in-store sidekick program nationwide.
Retail Concept Development
Following an internal kickoff meeting, I developed multiple creative directions and inspiration boards to explore product, packaging, and color palette concepts. Working under a compressed timeline, I created more than 50 product and packaging mockups that were presented to leadership and ultimately used in Walmart retailer presentations.
Midway through development, the creative brief changed significantly, requiring a complete redesign of multiple concepts before the final collection was selected. Despite the shift in direction, the revised designs were successfully presented to Walmart, resulting in BooginHead securing placement for the Fall Silicone PaciGrip & Bib Sidekick program. Due to NDA restrictions, retailer presentation materials cannot be shown.

Prototyping & Validation
Once Spec'd, Lets Test! Before production, full-scale physical mockups were created to validate readability, spacing, structural integrity, and on-shelf presentation. Packaging components, attachments, and display elements were tested to ensure all specifications were accurate prior to manufacturing.
Walmart sidekick displays also required extensive validation to meet strict retail requirements. Peg placement, header dimensions, product spacing, and weight distribution were carefully reviewed to ensure the final display functioned properly in-store.
