DELIVERABLES
Product concept development, custom illustrations, silicone bib and pacifier holder collections, packaging design, retailer presentation mockups, in-store sidekick display, custom dielines, manufacturing specifications, product sampling, and production quality control.
PROCESS
Led the development of a seasonal silicone bib and pacifier holder collection from initial concepts through manufacturing and retail launch. Created product and packaging concepts, developed more than 50 mockups, built full-scale prototypes, and prepared production artwork, dielines, and manufacturing documentation in collaboration with overseas factory partners.
OUTCOME
Selected by Walmart for nationwide retail placement as an in-store sidekick program.
Product & Collection Development
Working directly with Walmart buyers and BooginHead’s CEO and VP of Marketing, I developed 50+ product and packaging mockups, adapted concepts as the brief evolved, and led the collection’s development through to nationwide Walmart retail placement as an in-store sidekick program.
Prototyping Before Production
Before committing to production tooling, I built full-scale prototypes to test product fit, structure, readability, and shelf presentation.
To meet Walmarts retail merchandising requirements so extra attention was given to peg placement, header dimensions, and product spacing.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
Working directly with our China manufacturing partners, I prepared production artwork, custom dielines, manufacturing specifications, and factory documentation.
I also reviewed samples for PMS colors, graphic alignment, print quality, and logo consistency, catching issues before they became costly revisions.
